Update-all the kiddos

Nathan was elected to represent his class for student counsel. That is right down his administrative, leadership, decision-making alley! Abigail and Victoria are coming along beautifully, academically. Abigail has a slew of little friends at school. And MacKinley has begun to serve others without being asked and without complaining. Ian, well, Ian is just Ian-easy to be around! He is crazy over Legos and loves to design all sorts of things. They are all enjoying school.

Nathan's New Hobby

I took the children to Ijams Nature Center this afternoon to enjoy the gorgeous weather! It seems I will have to fight for the camera from now on. Nathan took a lot of pictures and I think this one turned out very well. We are grateful to live near such a pleasant place to view God's handiwork.

Hiking

Thomas took Nathan hiking in the Smokies for the first time on Saturday. I was wishing I could go, but we didn't think the others could hang in there for a longer hike, so I stayed with them. When they returned, Nathan said, "I brought you back some nature". It was Thomas' idea and I loved it! There was a fiery red leaf, a glistening rock, and a huge, bright-green acorn.

Making memories...

I decided to start this blog as a little treasure box of the kindness of God and to preserve the memories we are making as a family. I do not suppose this can hold all that God is and does for us! But we want to try our best to see His hand guiding us and His feet walking with us!
